FSSAI stands for Food Safety and Standards Authority of India, it is an authorised license provided for the food safety and standards in the quality. It is a compulsory license for the process of manufacturing, packaging, Procurement, Manufacture, Distribution, Processing, Packaging, Storage, sales of food products has to register under FSSAI.
The Ministry of health and family welfare departments implemented and passed an Act called FSSAI which has been established under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 to maintain the basic standards of the food safety. It contains the regulations regarding the food related business in India.
Mostly people who maintain business Hotels , Food import and export commerce, Wholesaler, Restaurants, Food chains, resellers, Dairy products and related processes, pickle, dry fruits maker, raw material supplier, retailers,packed foods, canteens in government and private institutions.
